Good Friday Appeal – Reg and Helen Excell have been organising, managing and running the Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital for 25 years. Modest Rotarians these amazing folk go about supporting this charity nearly every day of the year as they deliver donation boxes, collect and deposit donations, coordinate volunteers, collection tin sourcing and positioning, liaison with the head office of the appeal, organising insurances, venue hire and many more logistical activities that go on to enable a successful annual collection day.
With our Club’s support Helen and Reg have raised OVER $400,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Our Club donates a total of $3,000 per year divided equally between San Remo and Phillip Island collection centres.
