July is the beginning of the Rotary year and so it seems appropriate to wish all Rotarians and friends a Happy New Year!
You can see on our Bulletin Page that we have recently celebrated our Club executive change over and we all congratulate Past President Keith on a successful 2015-16 year. We all wish President Phil a prosperous and generous year ahead. He has the entire Club’s support for what is already shaping up to be a year of big projects. (Keep an eye on the Art Show page)
While winter has taken hold here in the Bass Coast we wish all Rotarians good health and hope none succumb to those nasty colds and flu that can grip at this time of year. Our club continues to be busy with reoccurring projects and fund raising, mostly of which come from our Opp Shop. We thank all volunteers for their support in keeping the Opp Shop running and for the dedicated management by Pauline. Many of the projects we fund would not occur without such dedicated volunteers and Rotarians.
The Board is into its planning phase, preparing new committees and budgets to scope out the work ahead this year. If you would like to get involved with Rotary be sure to get in touch as we are always welcoming of new members and volunteers. And feel free to join any of our weekly meetings to learn more about who we are and what we do, and how “Rotary Serves Humanity“.
